Woodshop Gallery Hawaii
The Woodshop Gallery is located 13 miles North of Hilo, in the old plantation town of Honomu. Two miles further on is the Akaka Falls State park, home to the largest waterfall on the Big Island of Hawaii. As you drive through the old town, the wooden board walk and colorful store fronts are reminiscence of days gone by when it was once a thriving Sugar plantation town. Today the population is approximately 560 people, many of them are from grandparents who immigrated to Hawaii to work in the cane fields.
For 27 years the Woodshop Gallery has been in the same location 3 stores up from the zip line on the corner of Main Street.
